Proposed Recreational Improvements at Quinn’s Road, Shankill, Co. Dublin
PC/03/11
In accordance with Part 8, Article 81 of the 2001-2010 Planning and Development Regulations, Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council hereby gives notice of proposed recreational improvements at Quinn’s Road, Shankill, Co. Dublin.
The proposal consists of:
· single-storey timber clad clubhouse (Shankill Bowling Club),
· two outdoor mini-tennis courts,
· an indoor tennis hall accommodating three new tennis courts,
· a hitting wall,
· a children’s playground,
· additional car parking in the existing car park and along Quinn’s Road,
· provision of two new vehicular entrances,
· new floodlighting columns,
· landscaping and new boundary treatment and site services.
Plans and particulars of the proposed development, including a Habitats Directive Screening Report, are available for inspection from Friday 10th June 2011 up to and including Friday 22nd July 2011, at the Planning Department, County Hall, Marine Road, Dún Laoghaire between 10.00am and 4.00pm and at the Council Offices, Dundrum Office Park, Main Street, Dundrum, Dublin 14 between the hours of 9.30am to 12.30 pm and 1.30pm to 4.30pm Monday to Friday, excluding Bank Holidays.
Submissions or observations with respect to the proposed development, dealing with the proper planning and sustainable development of the area, may be made in writing on or before Friday 5th August 2011.
