Councillor Devlin has requested the Council to initiate a site survey along the whole length of Shanganagh Road as there are a lot of tree's and bushes blocking footpaths, growing out onto the road and blocking street lights. Please see the question that I raised;
Question: Councillor Cormac Devlin
To ask the Manager to conduct a site survey along Shanganagh Road (between Ballybrack Village & St. Anne's Church, Shankill) to remove and cut back vegetation obstructing traffic lights and public lighting columns and signage along this route?
Council Reply:
A survey will be carried out on Shanganagh Road between Ballybrack Village and St. Anne’s Church to compile a list of locations where vegetation need to be removed or cut back where it is causing obstruction to traffic lights, public lighting and road signage. If the vegetation is on, or emanates from private property, notices will be served on the property owners requiring its pruning or removal. Where the vegetation is on public property, the Road Maintenance Section will arrange to have it cut back or removed as appropriate.
