An Cathaoirleach, Councillor Cormac Devliniting is informing local residents that the current Local Area Plan (LAP) for the Woodbrook - Shanganagh (2006 - 2016) area of Shankill is due to expire at the end of November. As a result, Dún Laoghaire Rathdown County Council has initiated the preparation of a new Local Area Plan for the same area.
The Council invites residents and all community groups/associations from across the County to make a free submission on their idea's and suggestions for the future development of the Woodbrook / Shanganagh area of Shankill. These suggestions will then go into the final report that will be presented to Council and voted upon by Councillors. The new plan will be valid from 2017 - 2023.
