DEVLIN CRITICAL OF A FINE GAEL COUNCILLOR REQUEST TO REMOVE HOARDING NEXT TO THE DERELICT DEER HUNTER SITE, SALLYNOGGIN:
Cormac has criticised the request made by a Fine Gael Councillor to remove the hoarding around the cottages (along Sallynoggin Road) next to the derelict Deer Hunter site. Cllr. Devlin said that "this hoarding not only screened the ugly nature of the derelict houses but also prevented anti-social behaviour and has been in contact with the developer to request the reinstating of same for the sake of local residents.

COUNCILLOR DEVLIN VOTES AGAINST CLAMPING IN THE COUNTY:
Councillor Devlin voted against the clamping proposal by Dún Laoghaire Rathdown County Council. Cormac reminded Management that "it is elected representatives that make the decisions....not Management". DEVLIN WELCOMES REDUCTION IN ROAMING CHARGES BY EU FROM 1st JULY:
Councillor Devlin Starting from July 1st, the cost of making a call, sending a text or data while roaming within the EU will fall dramatically thanks to the decision by MEP's this week. All calls, texts and data service costs will be reduced from 28c to just 11c. Read more.

"COUNCIL TO CLEAN-UP RECYCLING CENTRE ON PEARSE ST. SALLYNOGGIN" - DEVLIN
Local Councillor for the area, Cormac Devlin has informed local residents that he has contacted Dún Laoghaire Rathdown County Council to insist that they maintain the recycling centre on Pearse Street, Sallynoggin better. "This is a popular and well used centre and therefore should be properly maintained" insisted Cllr. Devlin. The Council have confirmed that they will be cleaning up the area around the centre over the next week and carrying out other improvements shortly.
