Cormac Devlin, Fianna Fáil Councillor for the area placed a question down at an Area Committee meeting to ask the Manager to increase the time allowed for pedestrians crossing at Bakers Corner.
Question:
Councillor Cormac Devlin
To ask the Manager to increase the length of time at the pedestrian crossing on Kill Avenue, Abbey Road, Kill Lane and Rochestown Avenue as local residents do not have enough time to cross at these lights?
Reply:
Modifications will be carried out in the near future to pedestrian timings at Kill ‘O’ The Grange junction. The overall time allocated to pedestrians will be increased to reflect the road widths to be negotiated by pedestrians using the junction.
