As a Councillor for the Dún Laoghaire, I severe on several committees such as; the Dalkey Heritage Company, the Health Service Executive (HSE) Regional Health Forum, the Asscociation of Irish Local Government (Standing Council). DEVLIN SELECTED BY FIANNA FÁIL TO CONTEST THE NEXT GENERAL ELECTION
The members of Fianna Fáil voted to select Cormac to represent the Party at the next General Election. Cormac polled exceptionally well as a first time candidate in the 2016 General Election attracting over 4,600 first preference votes. Cormac remains focused on the issues facing constituents across the Dún Laoghaire constituency. PLANNING APPLICATION SUBMITTED FOR FORMER BLAKES & ESMONDE MOTORS SITES
A significant planning application has been lodged with An Bord Pleanála for the redevelopment of the former Blakes & Esmonde Motors site, Stillorgan (Ref: L ABP-300520-17). The proposal is to build a mixed use development of student accommodation units (179 units with 576 beds) plus 103 apartments with private balconies / terraces on all elevations (24 x 1 bed units, 70 x 2 bed units & 9 x 3 bed units). The reaminder of this site will include a student gym, study spaces, communal lounges and 907 sq.m. of retail / restaurant / café / co-working space and a community sports hall (297.6 sq.m). IRISH WATER GETS APPROVAL FOR NEW 80m STILLORGAN RESEVOIR PLANS
An Bord Pleanála have given approval for a new reservoir for Stillorgan area. The project will secure a sustainable supply of water for more than 200,000 people living in south county Dublin. For more click here

FOR STILLORGAN DURING THE PUBLIC CONSULTATION PHASE
The Council has announced 4 Information Days for the residents and businesses of the Stillorgan area regarding their new Draft Local Area Plan (LAP) for Stillorgan. EMERGENCY NIGHT WORKS AT THE JUNCTION OF THE
ROCK ROAD & BOOTERSTOWN AVENUE
The Council has advised that due to the loss of water pressure and disruption to the water supply in the Booterstown area over the last number of days, they must carry out emergency works which will result in the closing of the inbound carriageway along the Rock Road from 9pm - 6am on Wednesday 16th January. There will be a shuttle lane on the outbound carriageway for the duration of these works. REPORT FROM BREWERY ROAD SCHEME PUBLIC CONSULTATION PROCESS
In July/August 2017, a public consultation process was undertaken by the Council regarding their proposal to improve the junction of Brewery Road / N11. 13 submissions were made and the Council has made the following modifications; 1) A ‘stay left-to-go-right’ road marking will be added to the mouth of Farmleigh Avenue with its own cycle detector. 2) A cycle link to the small access road from the N11 3) A cycle link to St Brigid’s Church Road from the cycletrack on the N11 & 4) The trees removed for the upgrade will be replaced. DEVLIN WELCOMES NEW CLUB HOUSE FOR NEWTOWN PARK TENNIS CLUB
"It is wonderful news for all club members of Newtown Park Tennis Club that progress is being made and contracts have now been signed to construct a new club house at Springhill Park, Blackrock. COUNCIL TO RESURFACE & CLOSE MONKSTOWN ROAD (JULY - OCTOBER)
I have been advised that Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council intends to close Monkstown Road from 7th July until 30th October to facilitate the resurfacing of the road and footpaths along this road.
