DEVLIN KEEPS RESIDENTS INFORMED ABOUT WATER SUPPLY IN ROCHESTOWN, JOHNSTOWN & CABINTEELY:

DEVLIN WELCOMES RETURN OF 46A BUS ROUTE THROUGH MONKSTOWN FARM:

Local Councillor, Cormac Devlin has welcomed the decision by Dublin Bus to resume full service of the 46A through Mounttown/Monkstown Farm. "This bus route is a vital service to this area and provides public transport to and from Dún Laoghaire for many local people" stated Cllr. Devlin. Cormac insisted that the Council and Dublin Bus would work through the difficulties faced by the buses and restore full service. The Council have stated that they will be painting Double Yellow Lines at 5 key locations along Oliver Plunkett Road to ensure that the safery concerns of Dublin Bus are addressed.

DEVLIN WELCOMES FUNDING FOR YOUTH CAFÉ IN NEW MEADOWLANDS COMMUNITY CENTRE

Local Councillor for the area, Cormac Devlin has warmly welcomed the funding by the Government of €15,000 for the proposed Youth Café in the new Meadowlands Community Centre. For more  click here

DEVLIN CRITICAL OF REMOVAL OF TREES AROUND FORMER GOLF CLUB LANDS

Local Councillor Cormac Devlin has criticised the developers of the former Golf Club lands and the Council's area planners for not retaining more trees on the lands. In early March, tree surgeons moved in to cut down hundreds of mature trees that surrounded the perimeter of the former Golf Club lands causing annoyance and up-set to surrounding local residents. Cllr. Devlin stated that he is "not only concerned about the lack of protection afforded to the mature trees however I am also particularly concerned for the wildlife (foxes, squirrels and birds) who now have no where to go and a plan must be put in place to rescue these animals." DEVLIN CRITICAL OF COUNCIL ROAD CLOSURE ALONG MOUNTTOWN ROAD LOWER

Local Councillor for the area, Cormac Devlin has critised for the 3rd month running, the Council for their decision to close off Mounttown Road Lower (for the 2nd time). He raised the issue at the most recent Area Committee meeting requesting a two-way traffic flow along the road. For more  click here
