UN-BLOCK DRAIN ON
ROCHESTOWN PARK
March 2007
Local Councillor for the area, Cormac Devlin asked the Council to un-block a drain outside #18 Rochestown Park as this drain is not working correctly.
Question:Councillor Cormac Devlin
To ask the Manager to repair the section footpath along Rochestown Park particularly outside #3, #7, #14 & #24 as they are un-safe for pedestrians?
Reply:
These footpaths will have temporary repairs carried out in the next few weeks. They are not on the Footpath Restoration Programme for 2007. However, it may be possible to carry out repairs, if resources become available.
COUNCIL ASKED TO BUILD
A FOOTPATH IN
PEARSE VILLAS
March 2007
Local Fianna Fáil Councillor, Cormac Devlin has asked the Council to build a footpath in Pearse Villas outside a row of houses that currently open onto a road without any path.
Question:Councillor Cormac Devlin
To ask the Manager to install a footpath from #420 - 429 Pearse Villas, Sallynoggin as residents do not have any safe area to walk on outside their houses at present and are forced to walk on the road causing serious safety concerns particularly for small children?
Reply:
There is currently a concrete ‘footpath’ running along the frontage of nos. 420 – 429 Pearse Villas. The footpath, however, is flush with the carriageway. Because of existing driveway levels, it would be impractical to construct a conventional raised footpath. It should be noted that the location of these houses is such that little or no extraneous traffic passes them.
